Heatmat's 110W/m² electric underfloor heating mats are ideal for very well insulated properties or developments with a lower power requirement.

110W mats are often used in energy-efficient new builds, Passivhaus properties or eco homes where a low output system will easily heat rooms. 110W mats can be used as sole source heating or support other forms of heating in a property.

110W heating mats are economical to run over larger areas due to their lower power consumption. And a lower output system reduces the likelihood of problems caused by thermal blocks.

    Combining multiple units
110W heating mats are designed to be laid together with other 110W mats to ensure the perfect fit every time. The mats are wired into the thermostat or junction box in parallel, but it is important to ensure that any other mats used in the same room are also rated at 110W/sqm.

    Simple and speedy installation
Heat Mat electric underfloor heating mats are incredibly simple to install, and in large areas can take one third of the time a loose heating cable would take to fit. The mats can be cut and turned to ensure that they fit the room perfectly, and for particularly complicated areas the cable can be stripped from the mat and laid as a loose cable. The mats readily affix to the floor with four strips of double-sided tape, and the strong fibreglass mesh above the cable ensures it is protected during tiling.

Heatmat's 200W heating mats are easy-to-install and designed to provide energy-efficient tile warming, or a full heating system, in all types of room. This award winning underfloor heating mat range reacts significantly faster than less powerful systems, and the ultra-thin cable on mesh construction ensures floor levels are only raised by a few millimetres.

200W mats are designed for use under tile or stone and cannot be laid directly onto wood or other floor coverings unless the floor base is skimmed with 2-3mm of flexible tile adhesive/levelling compound or are laid first.

200W heating mats are remarkably simple to operate using a Heat Mat or electric underfloor heating thermostat and provide luxurious warm tile, or natural stone, floors.

    Sub-floor surfaces and insulation board
For the most energy efficient system and the fastest warm up time we recommend laying 200W heating mats onto Heat Mat thermal insulation board. Mats can also be laid onto pre-primed concrete, tile or stone surfaces or suitably secured ply board skimmed with 2mm of tile adhesive.

    Bespoke heating mats
Bespoke units can be manufactured to order for hotel or Pod projects, with alternative coverage’s, widths, Wattage outputs and cable thicknesses available.

    Energy efficient solution
200W heating mats are almost 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat and they can easily be powered by locally generated electricity from either photo voltaic or wind power sources. When used with Heat Mat’s NGTouch thermostat they form a Part L compliant system, and they are also suitable for integration into a home/building automation system. The NGTouch thermostat has energy saving features and displays usage in £'s and pence helping to ensure your system runs efficiently.

An earth shielded system designed to be used beneath quality floating laminate and engineered board floors without the requirement for covering with levelling compounds. With the addition of Overlay Boards this versatile system can be also be used beneath carpet, vinyl, linoleum and bonded board floor coverings, without requiring any wet trade. The mats can provide sole source heating in reasonably well insulated rooms, and floor warming in other situations.

The mats are quick to install and can be 'cut-andturned' like a conventional undertile heating mat. When used with Heat Mat's intelligent thermostats they provide a fast reacting and cost-effective heating system.

The use of wall heating systems is increasing and Heat Mat's wall heating mats have been specified and installed at numerous projects over the last decade.

In some circumstances the use of heated towel rails is not desirable and heating the wall behind the rail is a very efficient alternative. This is an increasingly popular application in new build hotels and apartment buildings along with a suite of other applications such as:
    • Keeping tiled walls warm where people will be sitting against them
    • To enable fast drying of walls in wet rooms and showers
    • Providing additional ambient heating to rooms where other heat sources are not practical

Flexible, ultra-thin 3mm underfloor heating cable
A flexible simple to fit heating system designed to provide energy efficient floor warming or a full heating system as desired. This electric underfloor heating cable is particularly suited to small or complicated areas where heating mats can be more complicated to install.

The systems output is varied by altering the spacing of the heating cable, allowing 200W/m² to be installed in conservatories and similar high heat loss areas. An additional benefit of this system is that it can be used beneath virtually any floor covering if covered with a levelling compound and installed with an output of no more than 160W/m².

    Selecting the correct heating cables
To start with you will need to decide on the heat output of your heating system. For floor warming or room heating in well insulated areas we suggest installing the cable at roughly 150W/m2, and for high heat loss areas, or for a faster reacting system, we recommend choosing a 200W/m2 output.

Once you have chosen your desired output you should measure your room to find the total floor area. You should then subtract from this figure any areas where kitchen or bathroom furniture will be placed, or where furniture without an air gap underneath it will be positioned. Once you have subtracted these areas you have your free floor area (FFA). If you multiply the FFA by the Wattage output you have chosen you will have the total output of heating cable you require, and you should then choose the most suitable combination of heating cables from the front of this sheet to provide you with the closest combined Wattage to your required output.

Increase energy-efficiency with Underfloor Heating Insulation Boards.

Heatmat's thermal insulation board is ideal for insulating your floor and boosting the warm up time and efficiency of your underfloor heating system. The product is suitable for use beneath any of our underfloor heating systems and the boards can pay for themselves, through reduced heating bills, in as little as 3 years when used on un-insulated bases.

Underfloor heating insulation boards minimise downward heat loss. When 10mm boards are used beneath a 200W system the floor will normally heat up in as little as 20 minutes and they add very little build height for a great energy saving measure.
